B.A.D. halo life

A support page for peeps living with Bipolar Disorder, Brain fog, Anxiety & Depression by a Melbourne gal who has been battling these demons for 40 years. The more we talk about our "invisible" struggles, the more the stigmas will lift. They have to…………….. don't they? PLEASE SHARE MY BLOG, ADD YOUR COMMENTS & TELL US YOUR STORY..

The gal behind the blog

B.A.D. halo life was created by an “everyday gal” in Melbourne, Australia. A mum in her mid forties, she has suffered from mental illness for most (if not all) of her life. She hopes that sharing her experiences will lead to a better understanding of the life of a person with Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety and/or Depression.

She anticipates that this blog could lead to greater things. This everyday gal can envisage herself in a public speaking role as an activist or as an educator speaking with smaller groups.

This looks like a great blog! My buddy Kitt O’Malley referred me. I’m 45 year-freaky with 2 kids, a fur baby collie, & a husband of 17 yrs. I have a postpartum bipolar one diagnosis & we llive in California.

I went to Melbourne by myself when I was in my 20’s! I loved it there & I stayed with a pen pal in Prahran for an all-to-brief visit. I’m a longtime Crowded House/Split Enz fan. When I was doing erraqnds with my Aussie pen pal, we ran into Phil Judd’s daughter Amy on the street in St. Kilda; (I think it was there…) My pen pal knew her somehow. It was too surreal….and what were the chances?

Hope this finds you well & I look forward to reading more of your blog.

Hi Dyane! Thanks for following me xx Prahran & St Kilda are lovely parts of town. No wonder it was too brief a visit! Melbourne really is a great place to live. I love it!
Great choice in music btw. Did u know that Crowded House & Split Enz are actually from New Zealand? Bet u didn’t! A lot of Aussies don’t even know that and proudly claim them as our own LOL
Thanks again for reading my blog hon – I hope you enjoy it! xx

Oh, I knew they were from NZ! I went to the North Island after visiting my pal in Australia and had an amazing time.

While I know WAY too much about the Finns and some of the other band members, at least I’ve had numerous adventures (good and grim) where they’ve played a part. Yes, I admit I’m a groupie! My husband knew that going into our relationship back in 1998 luckily I love the Beatles too (his favorite group) so we were able to be together, tee hee.

Thanks for the warm welcome, and I’m so happy we’ve connected! It’s great to hear from you. Take good care. Your new friend, Dyane
